BLAIRSVILLE, Ga. – Union County got its second win of the season in a 21-0 shutout of North Murray Friday night.
The Panthers held North Murray to less than 150 yards of total offense, forcing three turnovers. Darrin Patterson, Kevin Kilpatrick and Ethan Lester each forced fumbles.
Offensively, Maddox Young had two receiving touchdowns and a rushing score. Conner Shutneck added 150 yards rushing in the win.
Union County will have its first of three road games in a row next week as they travel to Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe.
