Kemp appoints 16 new Superior Court senior judges, five from NE Georgia

Georgia Governor Brian Kemp has appointed 16 new senior judges to the Superior Courts of Georgia, with five of them being from Northeast Georgia.

Kemp made the appointments on New Year's Day. They included the following local judges (the county the judge served in is in parentheses:)

  • Ronnie K. Batchelor (Gwinnett County)
  • Karen Beyers (Gwinnett County)
  • Kathlene F. Gosselin (Hall County)
  • Jeffery S. Malcom (Hart County)
  • Currie M. Mingledorff II (Barrow County)

The other 11 judges appointed came from various areas of the state ranging from Coastal Georgia to Metro Atlanta.
