SUWANEE, Ga. — London Weaver poured in 36 points to lead Class 6A no. 1-ranked North Forsyth to a 67-48 win over Lambert on the road on Thursday.
The game was a make-up from Tuesday when storms forced the postponement of much of the state’s prep schedule.
It was a potential battle for first in Region 6-6A with the Lady Raiders leading Lambert by just one game.
But North Forsyth (20-0, 10-0 Region 6-6A) used a massive second half to pull away from the Lady Longhorns (14-6, 8-2 Region 6-6A) and sweep the regular season series.
Gabbie Gliatta scored 14 points for North Forsyth.
The Lady Raiders next will play host to West Forsyth on Friday in another region showdown.
