An late afternoon fire in the City of Duluth creates a stir for fire and with the city and Gwinnett County safety crews.
A social media post by Duluth Police Department says they were called to assist the Gwinnett County Fire responders for a residential structure fire Wednesday.
Duluth officers and Gwinnett County Fire responded to a fully engulfed house fire on the 3200 block of Ennfield Lane after 6:00 p.m.
Officers evacuated neighboring homes as a precaution. Thankfully, Duluth Police officials say the resident made it out safely without injuries.
The cause for the fire has not been determined and remains under investigation Thursday.
