A woman from Tennessee was arrested early Tuesday after methamphetamine was found during a traffic stop on GA. 365 in Hall County.
The Georgia State Patrol said a trooper stopped Amya Alexis Collington's vehicle while she was traveling north on 365.
During the stop, the trooper became suspicious of criminal activity due to Collingtons answers to his questions.
The Trooper requested a canine unit to assist, and a Hall County Deputy responded to the scene.
“After consent to search was denied by Collington, the canine, trained and certified in the detection of narcotics, was deployed and alerted on the vehicle,” GSP officials said.
A search uncovered approximately two kilograms of suspected methamphetamine and two handguns.
Collington and her three passengers, Tyuanna-Monea Featherstone, Demetria Sarratt and Tamarick Patterson were arrested and taken to the Hall County Jail.
