An explosion at a residence in Young Harris Sunday morning led to a death.
That’s according to the Towns County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) who said they received an explosion call on Brown Circle in Young Harris at around 8 a.m.
TCSO investigators and the Georgia State Fire Marshal’s Office determined that the explosion resulted in the death of Thomas Marcell.
The case is under investigation, but authorities suspect a gas leak was the cause.
