Pope and North Forsyth highlight an intriguing schedule on Tuesday around northeast Georgia.
The Greyhounds, ranked 2nd in Class 5A, and the Raiders, ranked 10th in 6A, will duke it out in Coal Mountain. Both teams have played a tough non-region slate to this point, and both are expected to make playoff runs in 2025.
Meanwhile, North Hall, ranked third in Class 3A, plays host to former region for East Forsyth, now in Class 4A, at Lynn Cottrell Field. Johnson and West Hall will stage another round of the Battle of Oakwood, while Region 8-3A teams Cherokee Bluff and Jefferson both will be at home in a pair of interesting matchups.
