Regions 6-3A and 8-A Division 1 will jump into the their region schedules beginning on Tuesday,
Region 6-3A will be in full swing as all eight teams open three-game series'. The marquee matchup with be North Hall (4-3, 0-0 Region 6-3A), ranked sixth in Class 3A, traveling to traditional power GAC (3-3, 0-0 Region 6-3A). The other interesting matchup has White County (5-3, 0-0 Region 6-3A) playing host to No. 2-ranked Pickens (8-1, 0-0 Region 6-3A). The other two series have Lumpkin County (6-2, 0-0 Region 6-3A) playing host to Chestatee (1-8, 0-0 Region 6-3A) and Dawson County (5-4, 0-0 Region 6-3A) heading to Johnson (2-7, 0-0 Region 6-3A).
In 8-A D1, seventh-ranked Banks County (6-3, 0-0 Region 8-A D1) plays host to Commerce (1-6, 0-0 Region 8-A D1) while Providence Christian (4-4, 0-0 Region 8-A D1) travels to Rabun County (7-1, 0-0 Region 8-A D1) to open three-game series' as well.
In some intriguing non-region showdowns, Jefferson plays host to Jackson County in the Battle of Jackson County while Cherokee Bluff, ranked ninth in Class 3A, travels to Class 4A ninth-ranked Kell as the Bears continue their brutal stretch before their Region 8-3A slate. Unranked Flowery Branch travels to Class 4A No. 1-ranked Blessed Trinity as well.
