New charges have been filed against a man first arrested in January after Forsyth County authorities said they found over a million images and videos of child sexual abuse material in his possession.
A social media post Friday by the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office said Elvis Beltran Pineda was initially arrested in January as part of "Operation Bytedown."
"Over the past month, FCSO Digital Forensics Lab processed external hard drives and (a) laptop that were seized from (Pineda's) home," the sheriff's office said. "The Digital Forensics Lab identified over a MILLION Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) both images and videos, on those devices."
On Monday, deputies again arrested Pineda, this time on 15 new warrants. He was booked into the Forsyth County Jail without bond.
