Many students in Northeast Georgia are gearing up for spring break, but if you're not headed out of town, there is plenty to do on this warm weekend!

Here's this weekend's list of events:

WEEKEND EVENTS APRIL 4 – 6, 2025

Event Name: North Georgia Home Show, Gainesville
Event Date & Time: Saturday, April 5 – Sunday, April 6, Varying Times

Event Name: Music in the Branch, Flowery Branch
Event Date & Time: Sunday, April 6, 6:30 – 8 p.m.  
Event Location: Flowery Branch Amphitheater, 5603 Mitchell St., Flowery Branch 
Event Details: Calling all Music lovers! Get ready for an epic night of a free concert in downtown Flowery Branch! Kick back and enjoy our free summer concert series featuring amazing local bands! Bring your own food, a lawn chair, and a blanket for a relaxing evening filled with great music and good vibes on the lawn. “Music in the Branch” will be held on the first Sunday of every month (April-October), at the Flowery Branch Amphitheater.  

Event Name: International Street Festival, Athens 
Event Date & Time: Saturday, April 5, 12 – 5 p.m.
Event Location: College Avenue, Downtown Athens
Event Details: This family-friendly annual event promotes internationalization and cultural awareness. Over 3-5,000 attendees come each year to experience the cultural displays and performances at this festival. Enjoy the food and flavors of cultures from all over the world. Event Name: Bounce Into Spring, Cumming
Event Date & Time: Friday, April 4 – Saturday, April 5, 10 a.m. – 10 p.m.
Event Location: Cumming City Center, Lou Sobh Amphitheater, 423 Canton Rd., Cumming
Event Details: Spring has Sprung at the Cumming City Center! Join us for Bounce into Spring with Jump N Jacks Moonwalks. There will be bounce houses, waterslides and games! (Games only after 8PM). $10 will get you unlimited jumps per person. 

Event Name: Spring Festival, Winder
Event Date & Time: Saturday, April 5, 8:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Event Location: Near RR Tracks and Barrow County Chamber, 115 Porter St., Winder
Event Details: The season kick-off of the 6th Annual Barrow County Farmers Market with a Spring Festival. Family fun includes a Story Hour for kids from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM by Winder Library, live music by Electric Blue Xpress, and a chance to plant seeds at a special market table. Support local farmers and artisans, shop fresh produce and handmade goods, and celebrate the new season by shopping fresh and local in support of the local economy. Event Name: Art in the Park, Dahlonega
Event Date & Time: Saturday, April 5, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.  
Event Location: Hancock Park, Downtown Dahlonega
Event Details: Enjoy browsing handmade and original items by local artists. There will be fine arts and crafts booths as Dahlonega celebrates spring. This event is presented by Chestatee Artists and it is free and open to the community. 

Event Name: Mall of Georgia Spring Fling, Buford
Event Date & Time: Now Through Sunday, April 20, Various Times 
Event Location: Mall of Georgia, 3333 Buford Dr., Buford
Event Details: Big Rock Amusements is a family owned and operated traveling amusement park. Big Rock Amusements was established in 2010 with 14 rides and has grown to a 30-ride carnival that works with festivals, county fairs, and even a few state fairs. Event Details: Join us for an unforgettable day celebrating the beauty, artistry, and traditions of Native American culture! Event Name: R&B Inc, Brenau University Community Concert, Gainesville
Event Date & Time: Friday, April 4, 6 p.m.
Event Location: Boot Barn Hall, 312 Jesse Jewell Pkwy, Gainesville
Event Details: Support student scholarships with a night of great music! Join us for a community concert hosted by Brenau University featuring R&B, Inc., a 9-piece R&B and Soul Band from Atlanta. The members of R&B, Inc. are all seasoned professionals who have been entertaining audiences for over five decades. Event Name: Yonder Mountain String Band, Gainesville
