Keep Forsyth County Beautiful and the Forsyth County Department of Water & Sewer have announced the three winners of the fourth annual Storm Drain Art Contest.
The contest winners are:
- Saanvi Bodhireddy (Denmark High School)
- Amy Jing (Lambert High School)
- Namrata Joshi (South Forsyth Middle School)
The contest called for current Forsyth County middle and high school students to submit original artwork that educates about water quality and highlights the theme “Only Rain Goes Down the Drain.”
The winners painted their creations on designated storm drains outside their schools and received $100 in compensation for their work and certificates of recognition.

“We all play an important role in keeping our waterways clear of litter, yard clippings and chemicals,” said Forsyth County Manager of Environmental Programs Tammy Keaton. “Our talented contest winners are not only painting a storm drain but also beautifying our community as they help educate residents about watershed health.”
