The Atlanta Braves play the Colorado Rockies after Alex Verdugo had four hits on Sunday in a 6-4 loss to the Diamondbacks.
But the Braves have found somewhat of a stride here lately, and are just three games under .500 with a three-game series against the 4-23 Rockies.
The Braves have also added some more depth to the bullpen, claiming Ian Anderson off waivers on Sunday, just four days after he was DFA'd by the Angels. Atlanta traded Anderson to the Angels just over a month ago for left-hander José Suarez. But Suarez was sent to Gwinnett on Thursday.
Anderson will be in the Braves' bullpen on Monday.
