Kay Lynn Evans

Ms. Kay Lynn Evans, 75, of Cumming, Georgia passed away March 24th, 2020. Ms. Evans is survived by her three children Robin Clanton of Dahlonega, Roger Roland of Cumming, and Joshua Evans of Cumming. She is the grandmother of five grandchildren, Stephanie Presswood of Jasper, Jessica Blackmore of Dahlonega, Randy Roland of Dawsonville, Leslie Roland of Cumming, and Ashly Martin of Dawsonville. Ms. Evans was also the proud great grandmother of nine great-grandchildren who all reside in Georgia. She is also survived by a sister, Mona Monte of Waterford, Michigan and a brother, Benjamin Doty of Clare, Michigan. She was preceded in death by three of her siblings, Gregory Doty, John Doty, and Catherine Kinnison.

Ms. Evans, lovingly known as Grandma K, was born in Pontiac, Michigan on December 23rd, 1944. She was the eldest of six siblings. She was a tough lady full of personality. There was rarely a dull moment around Grandma K. She is loved very much and will be greatly missed.

Grandma K's memorial service will be held at a private location Sunday, March 29th.
