John Davenport Strickland

John Davenport Strickland, 57 of Gainesville passed away Saturday March 28, 2020.

A graduate of Brenau University and the Medical College of Georgia, John was employed as a physical therapist at Northside Hospital in Cumming.

He was the son of the late Robert J. (Bob) Strickland,  he is survived by his mother, Margaret Strickland of Gainesville, brother and sister-in-law, Robbie and Charlotte Strickland and nephew Michael Strickland of Clinton, SC; daughter, Samantha Strickland of Boston, MA., extended family and a host of wonderful friends also survive.

Private graveside services will be held on Wednesday April 1, 2020 at the Alta Vista Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Good News at Noon, 983 Davis Street, Gainesville, GA 30501 or a charity of ones choice in memory of John.
