Maria Balaban, age 94, of Commerce, GA passed away Monday, March 30, 2020 at her residence.
Born on Aug. 15, 1925 in Saseni Galati, Romania, Mrs. Balaban was the daughter of the late Dumitru and Elena Balanaru. She was a homemaker and was a member of the 7th Day Adventist Church in Lawrenceville, GA.
Survivors include her husband, Ion Balaban of the residence; sons, Eugene Balaban, Silviu Balaban, Gelu Balaban, Dorin Balaban, Titu Balaban; daughters, Nela Mihai, Rodica Enache, Adelfica Domitracu; sister, Ligia Liga; 36 grandchildren and 70 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held 2 PM Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at Grey Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Daniel Serban officiating.
Arrangements are in the care of Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, GA.
