Glenda Ann Martin Cantrell

Mrs. Glenda Ann Martin Cantrell, 74, of Gainesville passed away Sunday, April 5, 2020 following an extended illness.

A graveside service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at Alta Vista Cemetery. Rev. Darryl Womack will officiate. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Wednesday, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.

Born on November 6, 1945 in Gainesville, she was the daughter of the late George Arthur and Blondine Lyles Martin. She was a retired school bus driver for Hall County. Mrs. Cantrell was a member of Montgomery Memorial Baptist Church.

Mrs. Cantrell is survived by her husband, Homer E. “Shorty” Cantrell of Gainesville; daughter, Tammy Cantrell McClure of Gainesville; son, Scottie E. Cantrell (Kathy) of Jefferson; grandchildren, Amanda Allen, Anthony Layne, Kristy Hopkins, Makayla McClure, Davey Cantrell, Colin McClure and 6 great-grandchildren.
