Boyd Felix Simpson

Mr. Boyd Felix Simpson, age 65 of Yorkshire Drive, Toccoa passed away Sunday, April 12, 2020 at his residence.

A son of the late Robert Lewis Simpson and Mary Lou Collins Simpson, he was born July 4, 1954 in Stephens County, Georgia where he lived all his life. He was with employed with Coats and Clark for a number of years and later with Dempster. He was a member of Rock Quarry Congregational Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Smith Simpson in 2019.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Robin and Dan Simmons and Regina and Scott Hunt both of Toccoa; grandchildren, Justin and Deidre Simpson, Bethany and Philip McCroskey, Brady Hunt and Michael and Nicolas Simmons; three great-grandchildren, Lauren Simpson, Reagan Simpson and Willow Simmons; brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Elaine Simpson of Toccoa; sister, Diane Fricks of Toccoa; uncle, Leon Simpson of Franklin County.

Private family graveside will be Tuesday, April 14, 2020, 2 O’clock p.m. at the Stephens Memorial Gardens with The Reverend Jonathan Sutton, Mr. Gerry Simpson and The Reverend Scott Ledbetter officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Brady Hunt, Michael Simmons, Nicolas Simmons, Dan Simmons, Scott Hunt and Justin Simpson.

Interment will follow in the Stephens Memorial Gardens with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Boyd Simpson.
