Ivie Funeral Home announces services for Mrs. Mary Elizabeth McElreath Owensby 85 of Commerce who passed away April 18, 2020.
She was the daughter of the late Julius Monroe and Belle Burke McElreath and the widow of James Thomas Owensby Sr. and a member of Madison Street Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers J.B. McElreath, Otis McElreath and Julius McElreath.
Survivors include sons James Thomas Owensby Jr. (Betty Lane), Bobby J. Owensby (Anne) and Billy J. Owensby (Deborah). One sister survives Jesse Belle Allen. Four Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren and Four Great Great Grandchildren.
Graveside services will be Tuesday at 11 AM from Grey Hill Cemetery with Rev. Billy Owensby officiating.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Gideons International.
Arrangements are in the care of Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, GA.
