Charles Howard Haynes

Mr. Charles Howard Haynes, age 75, of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, May 6, 2020, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Due to the ongoing pandemic, the family has opted to have a memorial service for family and friends at a later date.

Charles was born August 8, 1944 in Duluth, Georgia. He was the son of the late Roy Lee Haynes and Lillie Mae (Nunn) Haynes. He was retired from Rainwater Construction.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He is survived by his wife Alyce (Jones) Haynes of Gainesville; children, Ronney Dooley, Cindy Dexter, Terry Damron (Matt), Sherry Strayhorn, Tracie Tate (Michael), Kelly Bishop (Sonny), Kathy Caldwell and Brett Tannahill; grandchildren, Jessica, Seth,& Emily Dooley, Tiffany Freeman, Makenzie Damron, Lance, Logan, and Brittanie Strayhorn, Bailey and Brandon Tate, Forest Bishop, Julie Head, Kami Alford and Jeremy Jordan; great-grandchildren, Mason Andrews, Zaria Head, Hudson Head, Jacob Alford and Leah Alford.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to the Northeast Georgia Medical Center Foundation 2150 Limestone Parkway, Suite 115 Gainesville, Georgia 30501

Memorial Park Funeral Home North Riverside Chapel, 989 Riverside Dr. is in charge of arrangements.
