Richard Duane Fite

Mr. Richard Duane Fite age 62 of Gainesville, Ga passed away on Thursday May 14, 2020 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.  

Graveside services are scheduled for Sunday May 17, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in Memorial Park Cemetery. Pastor Jason Hester will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday May 16, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. 

Richard was born on April 17, 1958 in Rock Hill, South Carolina to Donald J. Fite and Vivian Spinks Fite. He was retired from S.K.F. and from driving a school bus for Hall County School Systems. He was of the Baptist faith and is preceded in death by his daughter, Ashley E. Fite. 

Mr. Fite is survived by his wife, Beverly Fite of Gainesville, son and daughter-in-law, Richie Fite (Stephenie) of Gainesville, grand-daughter, Stella Fite of Gainesville, parents, Donald and Vivian Fite of Apopka, Florida, brother and sister-in-law, Chuck and Teressa Fite of Apopka, Florida, and sister, Cheryl Fite of Decatur, Texas.
