Brenda Sue Smith Nuckles

Brenda Sue Smith Nuckles, age 68, of Buford, GA passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents, Curtis and Cora Smith; brother, Cheyenne Haynes; sisters, Janice Smith, Laverne Haynes, Lulu Haynes and Elizabeth Smith. She is survived by her husband of twenty-seven years, Melvin Douglas Nuckles, Buford, GA; children, Melvin L. (Iris) Nuckles, Buford, GA, Jeffrey A. Nuckles, Norcross, GA, Felicia Williams, Flowery Branch, GA, Derick Young, Flowery Branch, GA; seventeen grandchildren; sisters, Lillie Bell Adderly, Orlando, FL, Sandra Nuckles, Buford, GA; brother, James (Jackie) Smith, Oakwood, GA; and a host of relatives and friends. Mrs. Nuckles was born on January 8, 1952 in Buford, GA. She received her education at Buford High School. She worked at a daycare center for children. She was a member of the Faith Free Full Gospel Church in Buford, GA. A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 22, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Pastor Gwen Bennett officiating. The family will greet family and friends on Friday, May 22, 2020 from 12noon until the funeral hour.
