Rossell Hester

Mr. Rossell Hester finally joined his wife of 60 years Modean Hester, on May 21, 2020.  Mr. Hester was a long time resident of Lumpkin County and has ties to the Hester families in Chaffee, Missouri.  He was 85 years old and a member of Philippi Baptist Church in Dahlonega. Mr. Hester was a licensed Baptist preacher and an active volunteer in the community.

Mr.Hester is survived by his children; Ava Turner (Dennis), Cumming, Teresa Hewatt, Dawsonville, Evondia Woessner (Richard), Blountsville, AL, and grandchildren; Stephen Turner (Jessica), Chris Turner (Amy), Courtney Vaughan (Allen), and four great-grandchildren.

At this time there will be a graveside drive up service at 2:00 pm on Sunday May 24, 2020 at Philippi Baptist Church Cemetery and a Memorial Service scheduled at a later date.
