Danny Ellis Dyer

Mr. Danny Ellis Dyer, 56, of Gillsville, GA passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 12, 2020 in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Jimmy Peck will officiate. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, June 11, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Born on February 16, 1964 in Gainesville, he was the son of the late Glen Henry and Dorothy Louise Hilland Dyer. He was retired from ASF Manufacturing. Mr. Dyer was of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Dyer is survived by his wife of 37 years, Clara Stephens Dyer of Gillsville; daughter and son in law, Priscilla and Josh Lewis of Gillsville; daughter, Robin Dyer of Athens; daughter and son in law, Brandy Dyer and Adam Hunter  grandchildren; Emerald “Emmie” Lewis, Annie Lewis, Sally “Bam Bam” Lewis, Bryson Dyer, Elizabeth Monego; brother and sister in law, Dean and Kim Dyer of Gainesville; brother in law and sister in law, Carl and Wanda Stephens of Lula; sister in law, Mary Sullens of Dahlonega; sister in law and brother in law, Kathy and Glenn Crane of Braselton; sister in law, Elizabeth Stephens of Braselton and a number of other relatives.
