Edward Logan “Eddie” Ferguson

Edward Logan “Eddie” Ferguson, age 44 of Baldwin, Georgia went home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 12, 2020 at his residence. 

Born in Demorest, Georgia on August 04, 1975, he was a son of Thomas Anthony & Rachel Alexander Ferguson of Baldwin, Georgia. Eddie was a 1993 graduate of Habersham Central High School & attended North Georgia Technical College. He was the owner & operator of Fast Eddie's Custom Body's. Eddie enjoyed rabbit hunting, dancing, pretty women, & loved car racing. Most of all, he enjoyed precious time with his son, Mason, his family, & friends. He was a member of the Hollingsworth Masonic Lodge #355 F&A.M. and attended Mountain View Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his nephew, Tyler Ferguson.

In addition to his parents, survivors include his son, Mason Jayce Ferguson of Grayson, GA; brother & sister-in-law, Tommy & Jody Ferguson of Baldwin, GA; niece & fiance, Tori Ferguson & Chad Edwards of Anderson, SC; nephews, Haden Martin of Colbert, GA; Haze Ferguson of Baldwin, GA; 2 great-nieces; 1 great-nephew; aunts, uncles, cousins, special friends, Tim, Tina, & Parris Simmons of Baldwin, GA; Chris Ausburn of Alto, GA; Sheila Franklin of Baldwin, GA; & a host of other friends.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 15, 2020 at Mountain View Baptist Church in Baldwin with Rev. Terry Rice officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Masonic Rites provided by the Hollingsworth Masonic Lodge #355 F&A.M.

The family will receive friends at the Mountain View Baptist Church Fellowship Hall on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that the racing community wear their racing shirts, hats, & bring any cars to the service that Eddie worked on.
