Ola Charlene Brown Whitlock

Mrs. Ola Charlene Brown Whitlock, age 81, of Commerce, GA died Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center.  Mrs. Whitlock was born in Commerce to the late Charles H. and Pauline Rice Brown.  She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church and was a homemaker.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Whitlock was preceded in death by her husband, Marcus V. Whitlock and daughter-in-law, Lisa Goldie.

Mrs. Whitlock is survived by her son, Charles Whitlock of Marietta; daughters, Linda W. Mize and Lesa W. Hayes both of Commerce; brothers, Toye Brown and Bobby Brown both of Commerce; 7 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, June 25 at 1 PM at Jackson Memorial Park with Rev. Ronnie Whitlock and Mr. Wes Lewis officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM on Thursday.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 41 Perimeter Center East #550, Atlanta, GA 30346.
