Margaret Duncan Ward

Mrs. Margaret Duncan Ward, age 89, of Nicholson, GA died Thursday, June 25, 2020 at her residence.  Mrs. Ward was born in Nicholson to the late Charlie and Maude Pace Duncan.  She was retired from the Jackson County School System.  Mrs. Ward was the valedictorian of her graduating class at Benton High School.

Mrs. Ward is survived by her daughters, Pam Ward of Nicholson and Chery Williams (Robert) of Elberta, AL; son, Jon Ward (Holly) of Athens; two grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 10 AM, Monday, June 29 at Jackson Memorial Park with Mr. Jon Ward, Mr. Rob Williams and Rev. Blair Tolbert officiating.  The family request that all flowers be omitted and donations be made to the Margaret Ward Scholarship Fund.

Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce is in charge of arrangements.
