Jacque Ellen Hoffman

Mrs. Jacque Ellen Hoffman, age 73, passed away July 2, 2020, surrounded by loving family.

An 11-year resident of Dahlonega, she was born March 23, 1947 in Jersey Shore, PA to the late Jack Garland and the late Betty (Stevens) Garland.

Jacque is survived by her husband, Bruce Hoffman; son, Greg Hoffman; daughter-in-law, Jennifer Hoffman; grandsons, Samuel Williams, Jonathon Hoffman, and Ted Williams; and granddaughter, Carmen Hoffman. Beloved family also includes her brother-in-law, Mark Hoffman and his wife, Diane Hoffman; sister-in-law Beth Fairweather and her husband, John Fairweather; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her childhood friend, Sharon Maurer Webb of Salona, PA, who died June 14, 2020.

She attended Robinson High School in Tampa, FL and earned her Bachelor's Degree in Spanish from the University of South Florida. In her professional life, she worked as an insurance underwriter and an agent for many years.

Jacque was a proud member of the Trahlyta Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was also a passionate volunteer at the Community Helping Place.

There will be no local service. She will be interred at a later date in Lock Haven, PA.
