Elna Jean Tanner Patterson

Elna Jean Tanner Patterson, 82, of Lula passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at her home following an extended illness.

Funeral Services are to be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 11, 2020 in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Reverend Drewery Loggins will officiate the service, with the interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 10, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Born on August 8, 1937 in Buford, GA she was the daughter to the late William and Elsie Mackey Tanner. Mrs. Patterson was retired from Leese Neville where she was a machinist. Jean was a member of Faith Tabernackle C.H. Church. As well as her parents Mrs. Patterson is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years Lawrence Patterson; brother, Wilburn Tanner and sister Gladys Epps.

Jean is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Deborah & Devon Walls of Lula; son and daughter-in-law Joe & Dana Patterson of Cleveland; son and daughter-in-law Jeff & Janet Patterson of Lula; daughter Connie McClure of Commerce; Son and daughter-in-law David & Kristi Patterson of Dahlonega; daughter Joan Guyton of Douglasville; daughter Peggy Jordan of Marblehill; son Gary Patterson of Canton; 21 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren as well as a host of nieces nephews and other relatives.
