Douglas Alan Higham

Douglas Alan Higham 68, of Cumming, Georgia passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2020.

Douglas is preceded in death by his father; Bruce Alan Higham, and his mother; Wayne Delores Higham.

Douglas is also preceded in death by his daughter; Diana Brin Thornberg; and his sister; Cindy Holup.

Douglas is survived by his wife; Deborah Higham of Cumming, Georgia.

Children; Jennifer Book (Brandon) of Louisiana; Heather Thornberg of Cumming, Georgia, and Madison Higham of Cumming, Georgia.

Siblings; William Higham of Cumming, Georgia; Bruce Higham (Robin) of North Carolina; and Jim Higham (Nancy) of Virginia.

Douglas also leaves behind 10 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.

Memorial services with Army Honors will be held in the chapel of McDonald and Son Funeral Home on Thursday, July 23, 2020 at 4:00pm.

A reception for family and friends will follow in the community room of McDonald and Son Funeral Home immediately following the memorial service.
