Dorothy Lee Millwood "Dot" Cannon

Dorothy Lee Millwood "Dot" Cannon, 91 of Flowery Branch passed  away Friday July 31, 2020 at her residence.

Born in Forsyth County, Mrs. Cannon had lived in Hall County for most of her life.  She was the daughter of the late Jim and Callie McKinney Millwood.  She had worked at Georgia Shoe for a number of years and also in the Lunchroom at West Hall High School.  Mrs. Cannon had been a member of Flat Creek Baptist Church for over 60 years.

Survivors include her son Chris Cannon, Flowery Branch; daughter and son-in-law, Robyn and Tim Chambers, Flowery Branch; grandchildren, Jonathan and Joanna Cannon, Flowery Branch; Brandon and Jessica Cannon, Jefferson; Christin and Brandon Simmons, Gainesville; Cole Chambers and Cory Chambers, both of Flowery Branch; 5 loving great grandchildren and a number of other family members also survive.

Mrs. Cannon is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Gaines T. Cannon.

A private family graveside service will be held Sunday August 2, 2020 at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Forsyth County.  Pastor Mike Taylor and Pastor Zack Williams will officiate.
