Jeffrey Scott Lewis

Jeffrey Scott Lewis, age 35 of Cornelia, Georgia passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2020.

Born in Gainesville, Georgia on June 12, 1985, he was a son of Eric Lewis of Cornelia, Georgia & the late Tina Seabolt. Scott attended Habersham Central High School where he was a member of the Band of Blue and was a 2017 graduate of North Georgia Technical College. He was a rural postal carrier with the United States Postal Service.

In addition to his mother, Scott was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Barbara Sue Callenbach.

Survivors include his loving wife & companion of 19 years, Dr. Amber Kerr Lewis; father, Eric Lewis; brother, John Derrick Lewis, all of Cornelia, GA; sister, Shannon Lewis of Baldwin, GA; paternal grandparents, Buford & Doris Lewis of Cornelia, GA; maternal grandfather & spouse, Johnny & Betty Seabolt of Demorest, GA; father-in-law & mother-in-law, Douglas & Deborah Kerr of Clarkesville, GA; brother-in-law & sister-in-law, Joshua Scott & Angela Kerr of Mt. Airy, GA; sister-in-law, Hannah Leigh Kerr of Clarkesville, GA; nieces, Jayden Lewis, Adalyn Kerr; nephew, Jackson Kerr; many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, & friends.

In consideration of public health & safety, a private family graveside service will be held on Monday, August 03, 2020 at Hillside Gardens Cemetery in Clarkesville, Georgia with Rev. Winford Bingham & Rev. Scott Ledbetter officiating.
