Mrs. Abrams was born September 20, 1932 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Francis Ruth and Ed Moore. In high school, she was an elite basketball player. Although she did not go to college, she went on to lead a very successful career. Elizabeth served as Secretary to the Chief of the Naval Air Station in Key West Florida. Living in Summerland Key, she became a broker and opened Florida Keys Realty Inc. in Cudjoe Key. When she retired in 1994, Liz and her husband, Leonard Seipel, built a home in the mountains of Hiawassee, Georgia. This was home until 2000 when her husband of 49 years passed away. In June of 2001, Elizabeth had found love again and married Jack Abrams. She sold her house in the mountains, traveled, and bought another house in Daytona Beach, Florida. Lastly, in 2006, Liz and Jack moved to Centerville GA, where they bought their forever home. In 2012, she became a widow and moved to Gainesville, GA to live with her daughter and son-in-law.  Elizabeth Abrams lived an amazingly successful and accomplished life. She traveled the world and enjoyed her family. Most of her time was centered around her career and three grandchildren. In 2002, she was blessed with two great-grandchildren within a month apart.
