Rilla Belle Cothran

Mrs. Rilla Belle Cothran age 85 of Lavonia, Ga passed away on Monday August 10, 2020 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center- Braselton following an extended illness.
 Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday August 12, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens- 1832 Pleasant Hill Road Duluth, Ga 30096. Reverend Dwayne Smith will officiate. The family will receive friends on Tuesday August 11, 2020 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

 Rilla was born on October 11, 1934 in Gillsville, Ga to the late Frank Smith and Belle Turpin Smith. She was a housewife and was of the Baptist Faith. She is preceded in death by her parents, and a number of other relatives.
 Mrs. Cothran is survived by her husband, Lon Cothran, Sr. of Lavonia, daughter and son-in-law, Sheila Hopper (C.J.) of Tennessee, son and daughter-in-law, Roger Cothran (Carolyn) of Gainesville, son and daughter-in-law, Terry Cothran (Holly) of Loganville, son and daughter-in-law, Lonnie Cothran (Connie) of Lavonia, son, David Cothran of Gainesville, 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, brother, David Smith of Gainesville.
