Kevin Rex Canada

Obituary Date: Wednesday, August 12, 2020

Mr. Kevin Rex Canada age 59 of Gainesville, Ga passed away on Wednesday August 12, 2020 following a sudden illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Monday August 17, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Reverend Keith Phagan and Mr. Donny Pruitt will officiate. The family will receive friends on Sunday August 16, 2020 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. 

Kevin was born on April 15, 1961 in Gainesville, Ga to the late Steve Morgan Canada and Reba Geraldine Cape. Kevin served in the Masonic Lodge and was a member of the Gainesville Lodge #219. He was of the Methodist faith and is preceded in death by his parents, and grandparents, Maudie Mae and Nelson Cape, and Mozelle and Harmon Canada.

Mr. Canada is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Molly Canada Watkins (Derek) of Lula, son and fiancé, Kasey Canada (Savannah) of Roanoke, Virginia, grandchildren, Bethany Watkins, Alexis Watkins, Kinslee Watkins, Braelyn Watkins, Keeghan Canada, Brantley Canada, brother, Stephen Canada of Gainesville, special friend, Angie Lanphear of Gillsville, best friend, Donny Pruitt of Gillsville, mother of grandsons, Linda Canada, and a host of aunts, uncles,  and cousins, of the Canada and Cape family.

Flowers will be accepted but those who wish may make contributions to the Shriners Hospital in Memory of “Kevin Canada”, Corporate Headquarters, 800-237-5055, 2900 Rocky Point Dr., Tampa, FL 33607.
