Glenda Sue Taylor

Mrs. Glenda Sue Taylor, age 66, of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, August 16, 2020 at her residence following an extended illness. 

Mrs. Taylor was born to the late Arthur Esco and Lola Mae Sosebee Allen.  In addition to parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Steve Allen and Ronnie Allen.  Mrs. Taylor was owner and operator of Glenda’s Restaurant in Cleveland.  She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.

Survivors include husband, Mark Lee Taylor, Cleveland; sons and daughters-in-law, Joey and Angie Allen, Gainesville and Shawn and Stacy Westmoreland, Cleveland; grandchildren, Tyler Matthews, Cole Allen, Connor Allen, Alyssa Jackson, Aiden Westmoreland, and Everest Westmoreland; and many nephews.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11 A.M. Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at Blue Creek Baptist Church.  The Rev. Bill Trotter, Rev. Kenneth Taylor, Rev. Gary Heffner, and Rev. Dennis Taylor will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Monday, August 17, 2020 at the funeral home.
