William Autry Dunahoo, age 88, of Buford, GA passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2020. He is survived by his wife, Annie Mae English Dunahoo, Buford, GA; children, Rene Wilburn and George Stringer, Buford, GA, Dana Cunningham and Mario Davis, Buford, GA, Antonio English, Buford, GA, Cedric English, Buford, GA, Jeremy and Denzel English, Jackson, FL; minister, Horatious Harris of Atlanta, GA; eleven grandchildren; twenty-five great grandchildren; brother, Sanford and Linda Dunahoo, Atlanta, GA; aunt, Levine “May May” Montgomery, Buford, GA; several special friends, most special friend, Jeffrey L. Porter and a host of relatives and friends. Mr. Dunahoo was born December 24, 1931 in Buford, GA. He was a 1950 graduate of the Buford City Schools. He was retired from General Motors Assembly Plan in Doraville, GA after thirty-eight years and a member of U.A. W. Local 10. He had several other jobs after his retirement from General Motors. At an early age, he joined the Union Baptist Church in Buford, GA and became a member and deacon. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed fishing at Lake Lanier. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Teffany Pierce officiating. The family will have a wake at the funeral home on Friday evening, August 21, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
