Rosa Lee Bailey Higgins

Rosa Lee Bailey Higgins, age 85, of Winder, GA passed away Thursday, August 20, 2020. She was preceded in death by husband of fifty-nine years, Grady Higgins; son, Eddy Lamar Holbrook; and daughter, Dwyna Christine Elinburg.  Mrs. Higgins is survived by daughter, Lisa (Terry) Gower, Winder, GA; grandchildren, Keith Holbrook, Chad and Jackie Holbrook, Dana Holbrook, Brandy Gower, T. J. Gower, Kevin Elinburg, KayLee Elinburg; five great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Lona Belle (Kenneth) Thompson, Lawrenceville, GA and Lottie Ruth Higgins, Dahlonega, GA; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mrs. Higgins was born on June 4, 1935 in Buford, GA. She was retired from Gwinnett County Public Schools where she was a bus driver for seventeen years. Mrs. Higgins was a member of Peoples Baptist Church in Jefferson, GA.  Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 23, 2020 at 1:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Melvin Gooch and Rev. Jamie Peels officiating. Interment will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Duluth, GA. The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 22 from 12:00 noon until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
