Sandra Nix

Mrs. Sandra Nix, age 62, of Gainesville passed away Saturday, August 22, 2020 at her residence, surrounded by her family.

Memorial Services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 2, 2020 in the Chapel of Memorial Park South Cemetery.  Rev. Randall Reed will officiate.  The family will receive friends 12:00 – 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.

Mrs. Nix was born February 10, 1958 to the late Bennie R. & Elaine Reed Williams in Clovis, New Mexico.  She was a member of Oakwood First Baptist Church and was retired from SKF, where she was a Planner.  A good cook, she enjoyed riding Motorcycles with her husband, camping and going to the beach.

Mrs. Nix is survived by her husband of years, Leon Nix; daughter, Tara Nix of Gainesville; grandchildren, Rylie King and Colin Barnett; brother & sister-in-law, Dwayne & Brenda Williams of Gainesville; nephew, Justin Williams; and niece, Brittany McMullan.
