Opal Elise Walls

Opal Elise Walls, 78, of Cumming passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Monday, August 24, 2020. Opal was a good Christian woman who loved her family, especially her grandkids. She was a member of Settendown Baptist Church. Opal is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Walls; parents, Clarence and Blanche Mundy; brothers, Donald Mundy and Junior Mundy; son-in-law, Dan Ivey.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Shane and Sandy Walls of Cumming; daughter, Lisa Bennett, of Laurens, SC; grandchildren, Courtney Walls and Daniel Ivey; sisters and brothers-in-law, Willie and Bobby Loudermilk of Cumming, Sarah and Guy Whitmire of Jefferson City, TN; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday, August 28, at 2:00 p.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jonathan Martin and Rev. Chris Kyle officiating. Entombment will follow at the Sawnee View Gardens Mausoleum.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
