James "Mike" Cantrell

James “Mike” Cantrell, age 65, of Sugar Hill, GA passed away August 22, 2020.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Coleman and Mary Henderson Cantrell; sister, Ruby Dean Ramey; brothers, Charles Dennis “Red” Cantrell, Robert Doris David Cantrell.  He is survived by his son, Andy (Dawn) Cantrell, Sugar Hill, GA; daughters, Ashley Cantrell, Winder, GA, Amanda Simmons and her daughter Katie Johnson; grandchildren, Madison, Austin, Corbin Cantrell; sisters, Gladys (Newman) Nichols, Cumming, GA, Joann (Cleo) Tatum, Buford, GA, Evelyn Deaton, Cumming, GA, Brenda Roebuck, Buford, GA; brother, Broadus (Linda) Cantrell, Buford, GA and several nieces, nephews and cousins.  Mike Cantrell was born March 18, 1955 in Buford, GA.  He was a 1973 graduate of North Gwinnett High School in Suwanee, GA.  Mike was the owner of Cantrell Trucking Company and was an avid hunter and outdoorsman.  He was of the Baptist faith.  The family will receive friends on Friday evening, August 28, 2020, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Flanigan Funeral Home.  There will be no formal service.  In Lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to “November Smiles”,
