Robert Eugene Daniel

Mr. Robert Eugene Daniel, age 56, of Oakwood, passed away on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at his residence following a sudden illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, August 29, 2020 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.  Reverend Troy Milford will officiate.  The family will receive friends on Friday, August 28, 2020 from 4 – 8 pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Daniel was born March 17, 1964 in Atlanta, Georgia to Olen Daniel and Gloria Hammond Daniel.  He was employed with Hall County School System as a bus driver and was a member of Mayfield Baptist Church in Forsyth County.  Robert was preceded in death by his mother, Gloria Hammond Daniel.      

Mr. Daniel is survived by his wife of 25 years, Kimberly “Kim” Daniel of Oakwood, his children, Wesley & Jessica Daniel of Mt. Airy, Georgia, Heather Daniel of Oakwood and Daniel Phibbs of Sautee, Georgia, father, Olen Daniel of Gainesville, his grandchildren, Caleb Daniel of Mt. Airy, Georgia, Brendon Phibbs of Sautee, Georgia and Danielle Phibbs of Sautee, Georgia, his brothers & sisters-in-law, Kevin & Tammy Daniel of Gainesville and David & Tammy Daniel of Forsyth County.

Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Road, Gainesville, GA  30504 is in charge of arrangements.
