Betty Rose Parker

Obituary Date: Tuesday, September 15, 2020

Mrs. Betty Rose Parker, 83, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 19, 2020 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Allen Stevens will officiate. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park on Saturday, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Born on October 20, 1936, in Pippapasses, KY, she was the daughter of the late Cevester and Mary Martin Reynolds. She was a homemaker and a member of Sardis Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Parker is preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Bruce Parker; four brothers, Ray Reynolds, Haze Reynolds, Gotto Reynolds, Garr Reynolds; three sisters, Lilia Mitchell, Anna Woodrum and Nadine Thompson.

Mrs. Parker is survived by her daughter and son in law, Donna Rose and Jackson Smith of Gainesville; grandsons, Bret and Aileen Ward of Gainesville, Chase and Rachel Smith of Gainesville; great granddaughter, Margot Rose Ward of Gainesville; step-daughter, Neena Greca of Willis, MI; step granddaughter, Katie Greca of Willis, MI; step grandson, Chris Greca of Willis, MI; sister, Kathleen Reynolds of Gainesville; sister and brother in law, Mary Lynn Little (Merle) of Nippa, KY; brother and sister in law, Randy Reynolds (Nyria) of Cynthia, KY; brother and sister in law, C.V. Reynolds (Kim) of Prestonburg, KY and several nieces, nephews and family friends.
