Dorothy Ann Millwood

Mrs. Dorothy Ann Millwood, 76, of Gainesville passed away Sunday, September 27, 2020 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 2, 2020 in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev Shane Seabolt will officiate.  The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Born on July 8, 1944 in Dahlonega, she was the daughter of the late Vernon and Ruby Dale Gilbert. She was a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Millwood is preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Edward Millwood; son, Timothy Douglas Millwood and Brother Marcus Randall Gilbert.

Mrs. Millwood is survived by her daughter, Lisa Ann Millwood McIntyre of Gainesville; sisters, Dolores Lemley of Dawsonville, Jeanette Fuller of Dawsonville; brother, Wayne Gilbert of Dawsonville; granddaughter, Kassie Millwood of Gainesville; great grandchild Lilly Millwood of Gainesville special pet, Ernie Millwood and a number of other relatives.
