Margetta Jo Henson

Mrs. Margetta Jo Henson, age 55 of Northside Drive, Toccoa passed away Monday, October 5, 2020 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

A daughter of Peggy Henson and the late Thomas H. Henson, she was born March 15, 1965 in Stephens County, Georgia where she lived all her life. She was an Honor Graduate of North Georgia Tech and a Goal Nominee Recipient. She had worked with Alltel. She was a member of North Trinity Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father and by her grandparents, Joe and Claudell Westmoreland and Dwain and Beulah Henson.

Survivors include her mother, Peggy Henson of the home; son, T.J. Key of Toccoa; brother, Steven Henson of Toccoa; uncle, James Westmoreland of Toccoa.

Funeral services will be Monday, October 12, 2020, 2 O’clock p.m. in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Stephen Harris officiating.

The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Monday from noon until the service time. Due to the health and well-being of our community, social distancing must be observed. Interment will follow in the Toccoa City Cemetery with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Margetta Jo Henson.
