Brodus Coleman Cantrell

Brodus Coleman Cantrell, age 82, of Sugar Hill, GA passed away October 5, 2020.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Coleman and Mary Cantrell; four brothers, Dennis, David, Robert and Mike Cantrell; sister, Ruby Dean Ramey; loving pets, Brownie and Shysty.  He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Malinda Pruitt Cantrell, Sugar Hill, GA; children, Lamar (Nancy) Cantrell, Sheila (Darrell) Terry, Ray (Glenda) Cantrell, Debra Cantrell, Joey (Allison) Cantrell; Eight grandchildren, Travis and Rebecca Terry, Rodney Terry, Heather Terry Patricia Terry, Diana & Steven Pacheco, Lamar & Amber Davis, Chloe Cantrell, Taylor Cantrell, Ethan Cantrell; great-grandchildren; Gavin & Shelley Terry, Aaron Terry, Bailey Hooper, T.J. Terry, Kammie & Cameron Proske, Zoe Bishop; great-great-grandchildren, Emma Rae Terry, Cayden Proske; sisters, Gladys Nichols, Joann Tatum, Brenda Roebuck, Evelyn Deaton; several nieces, nephews and cousins.  Mr. Cantrell was born June 23, 1938 in Buford, GA.  He worked as a pulp wooder for fifty-two years.  Mr. Cantrell was of the Baptist faith.  Funeral Services will be held Saturday, October 10, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Wellborn and Rev. Jerry Bennett officiating.  Interment will be held at Riverside Baptist Church Cemetery, Buford, GA 30518.  The family will receive friends on Friday evening, October 9, 2020 from 4:00 p.m.to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
