Linda Sewell Wright

Mrs.Linda Sewell Wright age 74 of Gainesville, GA went to be with the Lord on October 17th, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. Mrs.Linda Sewell Wright was born December 21,1945 in Gainesville GA. Proceeding her in her death is her mother Naomi Sewell, father; Dewitt Sewell, brothers Lennon Sewell and Larry Sewell. She is survived by her sister Harriett Sewell and brother Carlton Faulkner. She leaves her husband of over thirty years, Mr.Roderick Wright. She leaves her children Yonah (Chris) Wright, Sharitta (Dontrease) Watkins and Roderick (Laura) Wright. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Christian and Christopher Wright, Carlmecia (Isiah) Gillerson, Samya Young, Roderick (Paige) Wright II, Kayla Wright and two great grandchildren; Le’anna and Amilah Wright. She leaves a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Linda attended Fair street and graduated from EE Butler High School. She retired from Peachtree Doors and Windows. Linda accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior as a young child. She has been a faithful servant all her life. Linda was a member of Rucker Memorial Baptist Church where she served faithfully. She was the president of the usherboard, a Deaconess, and planned the pastor anniversary for numerous years, and helped with many other church events. Visitation will be private at Wimberly Funeral Home.  Mrs. Wright’s Celebration of Life will be Friday October 23, 2020 Graveside at Calvary Memorial Gardens at 1pm.
