Lillie Mae Eubanks Benton

Mrs. Lillie Mae Eubanks Benton, age 87, of Commerce, GA died Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at her residence.  Mrs. Benton was born in Homer to the late Thomas Lee and Margie Crane Eubanks.  She was a member of Homer Baptist Church and was a retired CNA at BJC Hospital.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Benton was preceded in death by her sister, Grace Ervin; and brothers, Arthur Lee Eubanks and George Harrison Eubanks.

Mrs. Benton is survived by her husband, Joel Benton of Commerce; daughters, Linda Guyton (Joe) of Danielsville and Cindy Bradshaw (Tim) of Jefferson; sisters, Betty Barrett of Nicholson and Sharon Chamberlain of SC; brothers, Bobby Eubanks of Homer and Johnny Eubanks of Commerce; grandchildren, Keith Maxwell (Dena), Adam Fouche (Macie), Amy Fouche (Lisa) and Matt Maxwell (Amber); and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 PM, Wednesday, November 11 at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Matt McKinney officiating.  A private interment will follow in Grey Hill Cemetery.
