Cleveland Howard Rhodes

Mr. Cleveland Howard Rhodes, age 81, of Nicholson, GA died Monday, November 9, 2020 at St. Mary’s Hospital.  Mr. Rhodes was the son of the late Cleve and Vivian Ford Rhodes.  He was a member, and Honorary Pastor Emeritus of River of Life Worship Center.

Mr. Rhodes is survived by his wife, Linda Hicks Rhodes of Nicholson; daughter, Shannon Palmer (Travis) of Nicholson; sons, Phillip Rhodes (Nikki) of Jefferson and Tim Rhodes of Nicholson; sister, Sondra Clark of SC; brother, Tony Rhodes of Graniteville, SC; sister-in-law that was more like a daughter, Gwen Proctor; grandchildren, Morgan Palmer, Eli Rhodes, Zayne Rhodes and Kaylin Rhodes; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 2 PM, Thursday, November 12 at the River of Life Worship Center with Rev. Jonathan English, Rev. Wayne Hicks and Rev. Tony Rhodes officiating.  Interment will follow in Howington Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the church Thursday from 1 to 2 PM.  The gentlemen honored to be pallbearers are Andrew Perry, Josh Nix, Johnathan Nix, Don Watkins, Kirk Vaughn, and Jimmy Ford.
