Mary Ann “Lou” Samples

Ms. Mary Ann “Lou” Samples age 82 of Gainesville, Ga passed away on November 19, 2020 at her residence following an extended illness.    

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday November 21, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Oakwood City Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday November 20, 2020 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. 

Mary was born on April 17, 1938 in Hall County, Ga to the late Ben Brown and Emma Ray Brown. She was a housewife and was a member of Free Chapel Worship Center. Ms. Samples is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Gerald R. Samples, son, Michael Raymond Samples and Timothy Samples, brothers, J.B. Brown, Wesley Brown, Junior Brown, Clifford Brown, and Robert Brown.

Ms. Samples is survived by her son, Danny L. Samples of Gainesville, son and daughter-in-law, William “Bobby” Samples (Gladys) of Gainesville, son, Steven J. Samples of Gainesville, 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, sister and brother-in-law, Jackie Ellis (Donnie) of Cleveland,  sister and brother-in-law, Louise Glenn (Michael) of Gainesville, sister and brother-in-law, Vickie Griffin (Clifford) of Cleveland, sister, Regina Seabolt of Dahlonega, daughter-in-law, Hilda Samples of Gainesville.
