Joan Wojtczak

Obituary Date: Tuesday, November 17, 2020

Joan Wojtczak, loved wife of Joe Wojtczak for 59 years, died on November 17, 2020. She was cherished as a daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was known as Aunt Joanie by many nieces and nephews. Family always came first.

Joan loved her church communities throughout the years with a servant's heart. She enjoyed singing in the choir and volunteered in the church library. Joan leaves her family with a legacy of character and faith. She loved the Lord Jesus Christ through her Catholic faith.

As a homemaker, Joan was a strong yet gentle sweet servant to her family and created a home that generations loved to return to often. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, quilting and cooking. Gardening was one of her favorite pastimes. Joan could often be found marveling at God’s creations with an appreciation for all things lovely, whether it be a sunset, mountain range or flower.

Joan and Joe traveled all over the world with the Friendship Force for more than 25 years. They owned a second home condo in Helen, Georgia that was a place to make many family memories. She loved the north Georgia mountains.

If you would like to make a contribution in her memory to the outreach program, for those-in-need, at the church she attended in the mountains, please follow these instructions:
